Reception

A critic from Idlebrain.com wrote that "Bhale Dongalu might disappoint if you had already watched Banti aur Babli".[5] A critic from Full Hyderabad wrote that "Whether you like Bhale Dongalu or not depends mostly on whether you've seen Bunty Aur Babli and whether you liked it. If you haven't seen the original, then this one will possibly appear novel and entertaining, even if it's a bit of a drag".[6]
