Laxman Sangappa Savadi (born 16 February 1960) is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the Member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly from 12 May 2023. He served as the 8th
Athani constituency
in 2004, 2008 and 2013 as a BJP candidate. On 20 August 2019 he was inducted as the Cabinet Minister in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government led by Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa.
On 17 February 2020 he was elected as an MLC by securing 113 votes out of the 120 votes polled.[3]
He resigned as a Minister on 8 February 2012 during the
Laxman Savadi resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after being denied a ticket and later he joined Indian national congress for 2023 assembly polls.[6]
