The Dam of Widows
A 10 km (6.2 mi)-long, incomplete Khmer Rouge dam in Preah Netr Preah district is known as the "Dam of Widows".[3] The dam gained wider attention as the title of a book La Digue Des Veuves or, in English, The Dam of Widows: Survivors of the Khmer Rouge Hell by the Frenchwoman Denise Affonço.[4]
