Presumed Innocent is an upcoming American legal thriller miniseries created by David E. Kelley, based on the 1987 novel of the same name by Scott Turow. It is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on June 12, 2024.[1]

Premise

A prosecutor becomes the prime suspect in the murder of one of his colleagues.

Production

It was announced in February 2022 that

Nana Mensah.[9][10] Noma Dumezweni, Gabby Beans and Sarunas J. Jackson joined the cast in March.[11]

Filming began in February 2023 in Pasadena, California.[12]

Release

Presumed Innocent had its world premiere at the 2024

Tribeca Film Festival on June 9, 2024, and is scheduled to be released on Apple TV+ on June 12, 2024.[1]

Reception

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an 83% approval rating with an average rating of 7.2/10, based on 18 critic reviews.[2] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned a score of 75 out of 100 based on 12 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[13]
