Chelo (American singer)

Jose Mejias, better known as Chelo, is an American

Latin music.[2] The album is recorded in both English and Spanish. He is of Puerto Rican descent.[3] His single "Cha Cha" was nominated for two Billboard Latin Music Awards.[4]

Chelo grew up in

high school, which led to his joining the groups Jyve V and Mexican ATM,[3] which both had songs in the Billboard Latin Top 40.[citation needed
